VIDAS® UP Listeria is an enzyme-linked fluorescent immunoassay for the detection of Listeria using the ELFA technique (Enzyme Linked Fluorescent Assay). The Solid Phase Receptacle (SPR®) serves as the solid phase as well as the pipetting device. The interior of the SPR® is coated with proteins specific for Listeria receptors adsorbed on its surface. The VIDAS® UP offeres next-day detection, single enrichment - one broth, one strip, one day. There is only one transfer step, therefore hands-on time is reduced and risk of error is minimized. Same protocol for all food and environmental samples and room temperature storage for the VIDAS® UP Listeria kits. Reagents for the assay are ready-to-use and pre-dispensed in the sealed reagent strips. You can confirm your test on a chromogenic plate (AEB120082, AEB520079, AEB520080, AEB150072). The assay is both ISO and AOAC-validated.
