Living Colors® A.v. Monoclonal Antibody (JL-8)

A monoclonal antibody produced by hybridoma cells against full-length Aequorea victoria green fluorescent protein (GFP). This antibody recognizes native and denatured forms of wild-type GFP, GFPuv, AcGFP, EGFP, destabilized EGFP variants, EBFP, EYFP, ECFP, AcGFP, and both N- and C-terminal fusion proteins containing these GFP variants in bacterial and mammalian cell lysates.

Recommend Applications & Suggested Dilutions

This antibody is recommended for Western blotting and immunoprecipitation.
For Western blotting, we suggest using the antibody at a 1:1,000 to 1:8,000 dilution.
For immunoprecipitation, we suggest you titrate the amount of antibody needed for quantitative recovery of the antigen. As a starting point, however, we recommend using the antibody at a 1:50 to 1:100 dilution. Analyze the immunoprecipitate by Western blotting with our Living Colors Full-Length GFP Polyclonal Antibody (Cat. Nos. 632592 & 632593).
