Advantage GC 2 Polymerase Mix is an excellent choice for GC rich PCR applications. For example, GC-rich templates, such as the 5' ends of many mammalian cDNAs, cannot be amplified using conventional PCR techniques. Advantage GC 2 includes Advantage 2 Polymerase Mix, our proprietary GC-Melt Reagent and a reaction buffer containing DMSO—two proven additives allowing amplification of sequences that are up to 90% GC with minimal buffer optimization.
