Yatalase is commonly used for filamentous fungi cell wall digestion, enabling protoplast preparation. The product is prepared from cell culture supernatants of Corynebacterium sp. OZ-21 and consists mainly of chitinase, chitobiase and beta-1,3-glucanase.
