The HI766TR1 is an extended length penetration K-type thermocouple probe with a handle designed for use with a thermocouple thermometer. A green cable extends 1 m (3.3’) from the handle to the thermocouple connector with the meter. The sharp, pointed tip at the end of the 500 mm probe allows users to obtain highly accurate temperature readings of semi-solids and liquids.

The Extended Length Penetration K-Type Thermocouple Probe with Handle (500mm) - HI766TR1 is designed to measure the temperature of semi-solids and liquid samples. The response time of a measurement is affected by the position of the sensor relative to the surface being measured. The HI766TR1 pointed tip construction offers a 10-second response for a temperature reading. With a strong, corrosion-resistant, stainless steel construction, this probe is able to measure surfaces up to 250°C (482°F).
